Identify outer non conformities, cracks, leaks. Identify zones at risk. Outer barcol readings. |
THERMAL IMAGING |
The hot spots suggest abrasion, thickness loss or delamination. Identify zones to be checked with ultrasound. |
ULTRASOUND READINGS |
Confirm overall thicknesses throuhout vessel. Detect delamination, loss of thickness. |
INTERNAL INSPECTION |
Visual survey and barcol readings. Microscopic imagery to monitor failure modes. Ultrasound readings on bottom. |
DIAGNOSTIC |
Combine data and provide a precise diagnostic. Report write up & recommendations. |
